Pack 110 Activities and Adventures

Cub Scouts is all about encouraging boys and girls to make friends, be helpful to others, and do their very best no matter the outcome. In Pack 110, we engage in a variety of outdoor activities, complete fun projects that help the Scouts build skills, and support our neighbors with community service. All these Pack 110 activities and adventures help our Scouts earn their badges and advance to the next level in their scouting journey. Take a look at some of the amazing stuff we have done below and get ready to join in on the fun!

Pinewood Derby Race

The Pinewood Derby Race is a Scouting tradition and is fun for the whole family. Scouts get to design and create their car and race against others from around the area.

Community Service

Scouts engage in community service activities such as; cleaning Paul Sanders Park, collecting food for neighbors in need, and honoring the troops with Wreaths Across America.

Camping at Daytona

This unique experience combines the fun of camping with a thrilling Daytona racing event. Camp on the infield of the track, get up close with cars in the pit, and do other activities with the Pack.

Fishing

There are many opportunities to learn about fishing an improve your skills. With the annual Fishing Derby and fresh water fishing at most campouts, you can become an expert angler.

Parades

Another opportunity to participate in community events is marching in one of the local parades. We’ve done the 4th of July Parade and the Brandon Parade of Lights.

Splash-o-Ree

Splash-o-Ree is a camping adventure with non-stop water activities and exciting outdoor fun. You and your family can join us for a day or spend the weekend taking it all in.

Den and Pack Meetings

During our Cub Scout Den Meetings, each of our 6 different levels meet in their groups to work through activities together and complete adventures. They are recognized for all their hard work at our Pack meetings.

Blue and Gold Banquet

Each year we host the Blue and Gold Banquet to celebrate the founding of the Scouts. We have themed activities and usually have a pot luck dinner.

Hosting Special Guests

Depending on the different adventures our Dens are completing, we may have some surprise visitors at our meetings. This year the local Fire Department came to talk about fire safety.

Drive in Movie

To earn the Summertime Belt Loop Scouts must attend 1 activity per month. Our drive-in-movie night was a hit and kept us out of the heat.

Painting

We’re not all about outdoor fun. During our Painting With a Twist afternoon, kids sharpened their art schools and showed their creativity.

Celebrations

We have several special events throughout the year. In December we celebrate our successes from our popcorn fundraiser and ring in the holiday season.
